Culture and History
The priory of Saint-Pal-de-Senouire belonged to La Chaise-Dieu Abbey from 1217 onwards. The Church of Saint Paul contains a statue of the Virgin Mary. The statue is made of carved, polychrome-painted and gilded wood and probably dates from the early 19th century.
There was a château or fortified house in Vedières-Hautes.
