Hiking and cycling

Talizat has a marked network of hiking trails and mountain bike routes; it is listed in the PDIPR. The La Terre de Saint-Lambert hike is a 12 km moderately difficult circular route in Talizat and starts at the Place de la Mairie in Talizat. It runs through hedged farmland and traditional hamlets and offers views of the Monts du Cantal.

The Circuit VTT n°29 – Le chemin du Lac mountain bike loop is suitable for beginners and families due to its minimal elevation gain and easily rideable paths. The third stage of the Grand tour VTT from Coltines to Rezentières passes the former Talizat railway station on the now-disused Béziers–Neussargues railway line.

Nature

Two observation points have been set up at the Narse de Pierrefitte. The short trail at the Narse de Pierrefitte is open year-round on all days, provided weather conditions are favourable.
