The signposted Puy de Vaurs hiking trail begins in Arpajon-sur-Cère at the church square: it is 8 kilometres long and has an elevation gain of 100 metres. Explanatory materials on flora, hedge fruits, local rocks, traditional construction methods, water and interpreting the landscape are available for the trail.

Nature
La Plantelière is a 7-hectare site in Arpajon-sur-Cère where visitors can discover flora and fauna. The site offers three orienteering courses: “petit explorateur”, “pépiniéiste” and “arpenteur”. La Plantelière also includes themed gardens such as the scent garden, the taste garden, the honey garden, as well as the Jardin du bon dieu and the Jardin du diable.
La Plantelière is open to the public all year round and can be explored independently with the help of information boards.
Culture and History
The Château de Conros is a medieval castle dating from the 13th century in Arpajon-sur-Cère and has been a listed monument since 30 September 1911. The privately owned Château de Conros is currently not open for visits, but can be viewed from the surrounding paths.
A Merovingian sarcophagus can be seen in the church of Arpajon-sur-Cère. The displayed sarcophagus of Arpajon-sur-Cère dates from the 4th century and was discovered in 1988 near a Gallo-Roman wall of the former church.
