History
The Church of Saint-Pierre was initially a priory dependent on the chapter of Clermont and later a priory dependent on the chapter of Saint-Flour. The present Church of Saint-Pierre was built in 1897/1898 in the Gothic style. It was first mentioned in 928 in the will of Alfred, Duke of Aquitaine.
