The Viaduc de la Sumène is located partly within the municipality of Méallet. It was completed in 1893 and has granite masonry piers as well as steel superstructures with a span of 78 metres. It has been listed as a historic monument since 28 December 2006.
The Château de Montbrun is fully protected as a historic monument in Méallet. The listing dated 26 January 1998 covers the entire building, including the terraces and interior furnishings.
The Église Saint-Georges dates from the 12th to the 15th century and has a four-arched bell gable. It contains a 17th-century high altar, above which there is a gilded wooden altarpiece. The church is open daily throughout the year.

Chamois are frequently encountered along the section of the Calupeau hiking trail at the Marilhou gorges.
