The Château de la Motte-Vesset is considered a coherent, harmonious and very well-preserved ensemble that is representative of Bourbonnais manor houses from the Middle Ages to the 19th century. The estate is fully listed as a historic monument, including its outbuildings, courtyards, park, access avenue, dovecote, fishpond, motte-and-bailey structure and the associated property in Treteau.

Culture and History
The Église Saint-Martin de Treteau was built in the Romanesque style in the 12th century. Its transepts were rebuilt in 1871. The church has a square bell tower with a slate spire.
At Château du Vieux Chambord, the façades, roofs and enclosure of the main courtyard were classified as historic monuments by decree of 21 December 1972. The main building dates from the late 14th century, approximately from the period between 1370 and 1390. Château du Vieux-Chambord has been owned by the same family since 1276.
