Culture and History
The Notre-Dame Church in Agonges was built at the end of the 12th or beginning of the 13th century. It is fully protected as a historic monument; it was listed on 27 June 1925.
Château de l’Augère was listed as a historic monument on 10 August 2000.
At Château des Echardons, the entrance gate, a tower, and the façades and roofs of the adjoining outbuilding were listed as components of a historic monument by decree of 14 March 1977. Château des Echardons is considered a good example of 18th-century rural architecture.
Château de La Pommeraye is fully listed as a historic monument; this includes the interior furnishings, outbuildings and park. The listing was made by decree of 3 December 2001. Château de La Pommeraye also combines the round towers of a 15th-century manor house with the classical residential building of a country house from the Ancien Régime.
Château des Sacrots is a 17th-century château with a residential building flanked by two square towers with lanterns. It is fully listed as a historic monument; this includes the interior furnishings, outbuildings, garden with its pavilions, and the enclosing wall with gates.

Local Life
Since 2018, La Ronde des Châteaux has organised walks through the parks and courtyards of the châteaux as part of a farmers’ market held in the village square, combined with tastings of the agricultural products offered at the market.
