In Aldudes, the Hargibel route leads through beech forest and fern vegetation to the rocky ridge of Hargibel. The Lepeder route is an easy 4-kilometre walk for families; its final section follows the Sentier de découverte du Porc Basque. Palombe hunting using the net-catching technique of the Pantières is also practised at Lepeder.
Hiking and Landscape
The Hargibel hike begins at the car park by the church in Aldudes. The Sentier du porc basque starts at the Maison Pierre Oteiza and is free of charge and freely accessible. The peaks of Pic Lastégui, Pic Abraki, Peña de Alba and Pic Arluche are located in the immediate vicinity of Aldudes.

Culture and History
The border ridges of Aldudes are home to megalithic monuments, monoliths and cromlechs dating from the 1st millennium BC. In the cemetery of the Notre-Dame church in Aldudes stand Basque grave steles from the 19th century, including two from 1805.
The Real Colegiata de Santa MarÃa de Roncesvalles church is located in the vicinity of Aldudes. The wider regional surroundings of Aldudes also include the Iglesia San Juan Bautista, Iglesia Santa MarÃa and Iglesia San Andrés churches.
