Parleboscq: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

One of Parleboscq’s special features is its seven churches. A circular hiking trail leads to these seven churches and through vineyards, farmsteads, ponds and oak groves.

Those who choose Parleboscq as their travel destination may wish to find a holiday apartment there.

Culture

The Church of Saint-Cricq has been listed as a Monument historique since 1973. It stands on a hill above a ravine. Of the village’s seven churches, Saint-Cricq is the only one built of stone.

Saint-Martin d’Espérous was built in the 13th century and has been listed as a Monument historique since 1998. The church stands on a small hill surrounded by fields and vineyards.

The Church of Bouau was built of brick in the 14th century, with the exception of the buttresses. It has a Flamboyant-style portal with a basket-handle arch vault, surmounted by a multi-lobed rose window.

Wine and traditions

Domaine de Laballe produces white, rosé and red wines under the IGP Landes and Côtes de Gascogne designations. The winery is open year-round for tours, tastings and direct sales; group visits are possible by prior arrangement. In winter, Domaine de Laballe offers meals centred around the still, where visitors can discover the art of distillation.
