Coudures: Holiday Apartments and Houses
Coudures is particularly striking along the large loop known as La Boucle de Coudures, which takes in the landscapes of the three valleys of the Adour, Bahus and Gabas. On the plateau, the route offers beautiful views of the rolling slopes of Chalosse. It runs mostly along unpaved paths through wooded areas and is considered a challenging mountain biking route.

History and Culture
The history of the village dates back to 1305: Coudures was founded at that time by the Sire de Lescun on the lands of Edward II and without his permission as a bastide.
The Église de Coudures is part of the local architectural and artistic heritage. It was extensively remodelled between 1890 and 1897, receiving three marble altars and stained-glass windows based on designs by Viollet-le-Duc. It also has a Gothic vault, which was built after the walls of the main nave were raised.
Activities at the Arènes de Coudures include Course landaise. The Arènes Jean Chicoy date from 1947 and follow the traditional rectangular concrete design of the Courses landaises.
The Fontaine et le lavoir de Coudures are located on the Chemin de Brameloup. The area is equipped with benches and a table and lies along a hiking trail. The ensemble includes a fountain dating from 1825, which was first restored in 1840, as well as a washhouse built beside it in 1842–1843.
Nature and Water
Lac de Coudures is suitable for walking and fishing, except on the dam. Fishing for black bass there is permitted exclusively on a no-kill basis.
Regional Produce
La ferme d'Augerin offers tours and tastings by prior arrangement only. The farm produces ducks fed on whole-grain maize and homemade foie gras.
