Saint-Front-La-Rivière combines distinctive architectural heritage with château estates and paths through the Dronne Valley. In 1454, Château Saulnier was transformed from a fortified manor house into a château through the construction of the large round tower; the present château was rebuilt in the 16th century.
Since 6 November 2015, Château Saulnier, its courtyard with well, as well as the entire gardens, orchard, canal, avenue and meadow have been protected as a historic monument.

Culture
Château de la Renaudie has been listed as a historic monument since 3 October 1946. The building has the layout of a 14th-century fortress with four towers of different sizes; inside, a Renaissance tower preserves two sculpted pillars from a Gothic fireplace and the upper section of a Renaissance window.
The entire complex of Château du Pommier appears to date from the 15th century. Its façades and roofs have been listed as historic monuments since 4 December 1959.
The Romanesque Church of Saint Front has a vaulted choir, a 16th-century nave and a bell gable.
Château de la Renaudie is a private residence that exceptionally welcomes visitors. The ruins of Boschaud Abbey are located in the vicinity of Saint-Front-la-Rivière, as is the historic site of Peyrouse Abbey. The historic site of Notre-Dame de Ligueux Abbey and Château de Borie-Petit are located in the wider regional surroundings of Saint-Front-la-Rivière.
Nature
Jardin des Peyroties is an arboretum of just under 2 hectares in the park of a mid-19th-century chartreuse, established over the past 20 years; visitors can discover several centuries-old chestnut trees, lime trees, an oak, an ash and a spruce, as well as more than 200 species of trees and shrubs.
