The Céou crosses Saint-Cybranet over a distance of 5 km and divides the village into two parts. Regular fish stocking supports fishing on the Céou; the river is used for swimming and kayaking. Initially, the Céou served as a transport route for people and later formed a boundary with the Castelnaud lordship.

Local visitor activities in Saint-Cybranet include hiking trails and circular walks. The Boucle Le Carlat is a 4.0 km circular walk starting in Saint-Cybranet. It begins at the car park by the Céou, leads towards the village centre and, shortly before the town hall, follows the signs for Croix du Fraysse up the hillside.
