Église-Neuve-d'Issac: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Église-Neuve-d'Issac lies in the heart of the Landais Forest. In the ditches around the village, wild asphodels and orchids bloom in spring; at dusk, it is not uncommon to encounter herds of deer in Église-Neuve-d'Issac.

When planning a trip to Église-Neuve-d'Issac, you may wish to rent a holiday apartment.

Culture

The church of Église-Neuve-d'Issac is one of the oldest churches in the canton and preserves traces of earlier construction phases. Its walls contain four Romanesque corbels that were reused in the 15th century: two human faces, as well as a horse's head and a ram's head.

The Boucle de Joan de l'Ors trail passes the former presbytery dating from 1851 and the church with its 15th-century bell gable.

Nature

The Boucle Jau de l'Ors begins in front of the church, follows old paths along the edge of the Landais Forest and includes a detour to the Fontaine Saint Pierre and its wash house.

At the third Rando des Forêts on 18 May 2025, several routes were offered; refreshments were available on site.
