Culture
The main construction phases of the Church of Notre-Dame de la Nativité date from the last quarter of the 13th century and from the 19th century. The building could accommodate 800 people.
Construction of the Château de Molières began after 1287 under the seneschal of Périgord, Guilhem de Toulouse. The Château de Molières was listed as an immovable historic monument on 12 October 1948.
Nature
After passing through Molières, the Chemin d’Amadour leads into the increasingly dense Bessède Forest. The route, which is now fully signposted, passes through Molières on its 15th stage between Saint-Avit-Sénieur and Cadouin.
The Boucle de Roumaguet combines Molières’ rich cultural heritage with unspoilt nature. The Boucle de la Petite Veyière is a 1.9 km hike along small roads and through the nature and landscapes of Molières.
Markets
Molières hosts the traditional Wednesday market, “Marché traditionnel du mercredi”, in the bastide square. Among other things, vegetables, beef, cider, apple juice, vinegar, citrus fruits, organic avocados from Spain, olives, spices and Berber pastries are sold there.
