Two circular walks begin in Les Farges: the Boucle du Grand Peuch is 4.9 kilometres long, while the Boucle des Balcons du Nord measures 7.0 kilometres.

The Boucle des Balcons du Nord leads across highly dissected and weathered limestone plateaus in the northern part of the Les Farges municipality. Along the way, there are views of the Cern and Vézère valleys as well as the foothills of the Limousin. The Boucle du Grand Peuch in turn offers views of the Cheylard heights, the agriculturally shaped plain of Aubas and the Vézère Valley.
Another route is the Boucle des Balcons du Sud. It leads through oak and hornbeam forests, heathland and fields.
Nature
The Grotte de Lascaux cave is located in the surroundings of Les Farges. The wider regional area also contains several other caves: the Village troglodytique de La Madeleine is a cave, as are the Grotte des Combarelles and the Grotte de Font-de-Gaume.
Culture
Historical and archaeological destinations are also part of the wider regional area around Les Farges. The Château de Hautefort is a château. The Abbaye Notre-Dame de Dalon and the Abbaye de Dalon are historical sites, while Abris de Laugerie-Basse is considered an archaeological site.
In Cheylard, visitors can view the remains of the former Saint-Barthélemy church. In Les Farges itself, a 19th-century cross of the dead stands beside a covered fountain. Another cross bearing the year 1781 is located at the presbytery.
