The Grand étang de La Jemaye is designated as an Espace naturel sensible. Its site encompasses a large forested area and six interconnected ponds. It also features plant communities typical of wetlands, including reed beds.

Culture
The Saint-Vivien parish church in La Jemaye was built in the 12th century. In 1866, the architect Vauthier replaced the choir and the space in front of it with a vestibule topped by a bell tower.
