Water

The Plan d’eau du Roc Percé in Groléjac covers 15 hectares. Pedal boating and windsurfing are possible at Roc Percé. Swimming in the Roc Percé lake is supervised by lifeguards in July and August. The Explorando canoe base offers canoeing and kayaking excursions starting in Groléjac.

Trails

The Voie Verte known as the Promenade Périgord-Quercy was created along the route of a former railway line. The starting point of the Promenade Périgord-Quercy in Groléjac is near the Dordogne. From Groléjac, the Promenade Périgord-Quercy crosses the Dordogne and reaches Sarlat-La-Canéda after 7.5 kilometres.

The GR 64B long-distance hiking trail branches off from the GR 64 west of La Mouline in Groléjac, crosses the Dordogne on the bridge of the former railway line, and then leads north of Carsac-Aillac to the GR 64A.

Nature

The Marais de Groléjac Regional Nature Reserve has a 1.2-kilometre-long elevated boardwalk with benches and information panels. At the end of the lake, where the Mouline flows into it, the Marais de Groléjac contains a wooded marshland area with an elevated educational trail.

The area is designated as a SAC, SCI and pSCI under the Habitats Directive and lies within the core zone of a biosphere reserve. The section of the ZNIEFF Dordogne périgourdine located in Groléjac encompasses diverse floodplain habitats and is home to notable species, including dragonflies such as Oxygastra curtisii, the European otter (Lutra lutra) and the peregrine falcon (Falco peregrinus). In the Marais de Groléjac, water rails, snipes, siskins and bitterns may be found, particularly in winter.

The responsible intermunicipal authority currently indicates that the Marais de Groléjac nature reserve is closed to the public for safety reasons.

Culture

The Église Saint-Léger in Groléjac is protected as a historic monument through its listing under the protection order dated 12 October 1948.
