The Boucle des Bois et Demeures (PR) is a 14.5 km circular route starting in Bourg de Coulounieix. There is also the Bac de Campniac: the free, manually operated crossing allows cyclists and walkers to cross the Isle and can accommodate up to six people.

Culture and history

The Maison dénommée Maladrerie ou Maison des Anglais features construction phases from the 12th and 14th centuries. By decree of 6 July 1907, it was classified as a protected historic monument.

In the river bend of Coulounieix-Chamiers, the Romans built a rural sanctuary with two thermal bath buildings in the 1st century.

Throughout the year

The Marché de Noël takes place every year at the beginning of December. Local associations and creative makers sell artistic and handmade products to visitors there.
