The Buchlovský kámen rock formation is also located in the cadastral area of Staré Hutě, about 1.5 kilometres east along the yellow-marked trail. History and Culture

The history of Staré Hutě is connected with the establishment of local glassworks at the beginning of the 18th century: the village originated during this period. A protected old small-leaved lime tree stands on the former glassworks site as a memorial tree. Staré Hutě is also home to a chapel of the Virgin Mary dating from the second half of the 19th century. At the end of the 19th century, Staré Hutě was known for the production of mother-of-pearl goods.
