Zvolenovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The “The Roštejn Route” runs through Zvolenovice as stop 17, between Rozsíčky and the Oslednice lookout tower. The route is 47 km long.

Geographical location

Zvolenovice is served by scheduled bus services, with a stop in the built-up area of the village. Outside Zvolenovice, local roads connect to a network of farm tracks used primarily for agriculture and forestry, as well as for cycling and hiking tourism.

Nature

The red-marked Březinova cesta hiking route runs along the north-eastern edge of the Zvolenovice area. Zvolenovice also offers the possibility of swimming in a small pond located directly behind the village in the direction of Nová Říše.

Culture

The Zděná boží muka is a small, four-sided sacral structure from the 18th century and is protected as a historic monument. It represents a transitional form between a wayside shrine and a niche chapel.

History

The Křížový kámen bears a relief of a paw cross on its front and the now barely legible inscription “LP 1762”. It commemorates the death of the 67-year-old citizen of Telč, Josef Rambousek. The Křížový kámen is located east of Zvolenovice on the road to Nová Říše, near two stately trees and a classic stone cross.
