Vír: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Vír via ferratas run above the Svratka River and the Vír Reservoir along routes secured with steel cables that beginners can also manage.

Hiking and Climbing

The Vírská educational trail leads from Továrna to the dam; it also includes a branch leading to the Klubačice rock viewpoint. Parking is available directly on the Továrna grounds.

On the Klubačice rock rising above the Svratka River, there is a narrow viewing platform at a height of just under 100 m, secured with a railing. At Uhelna, it is also possible to jump from a platform installed at a height of 26 m.

The Krabička climbing hut is located on the right bank of the Svratka River; reserved equipment for the via ferrata can be collected there.

Near the Bystřice stream in Vír is the Vírský mlýnek, a water-powered mechanism with moving figures. In 2007, the municipality of Vír commissioned a replica of the Navrátil mill mechanism.
