Svojkovice reveals itself through tangible traces in the landscape and history. Two large fields of mining pits and a single mining pit have been preserved on Hrachová hora. The mining pits are clearly visible in the terrain and are up to 3 m deep.

History

Gold mining is documented at Štítky for the year 1345. The Štítky fortification may have protected and controlled the mining of precious metals and enabled their temporary storage before transportation away. The first written mention of Svojkovice dates from 1257.
