Hybrálec: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Hybrálec was established through German settlement in the central part of the former Českomoravská vrchovina and was first mentioned in writing in 1315 under the name Eberharsdorf. Its foundation served to guard the important trade route from Jihlava to Humpolec. Hybrálec is located in the historic Jihlava ore district.

Culture

The Chapel of St. Wenceslas was built in 1828–1829 as a dominant building on the village square. The late Baroque sacred building, designed in a folk style, including the plot of land, is protected as a historic monument. Its façade is articulated by pilasters and complemented by a volute gable and a small roof turret.

Mining

The Hornická educational trail runs through places with clearly visible remains of mining and gives visitors a closer look at the past history of silver mining in the Jihlava area. Among the named relics is the Štola sv. Jana Nepomuckého, also called Trpasličí jeskyně. It was opened in 1776 and reached a length of 330 metres after several years of operation. The Štola is currently inaccessible and flooded.

Paths

The Štola sv. Jana Nepomuckého can be reached from the car park near Borovinka pond via the Hybrálec turn-off from Road No. 38; the route leads across the pond dam and along the forest. The Great Tourist Circular Route around Jihlava leads from Rantířov via Plandry and Hybrálec to Zborná.

The Memoriál Františka Škorpíka is scheduled to take place on 29 August 2026 from 13:00 to 18:00 at the Hybrálec football pitch.
