Horní Myslová: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Horní Myslová is located 3 km southwest of Telč at an elevation of 500 metres. The first documented mention of the village dates back to 1385: at that time, Horní Myslová was owned by Šternberk Castle, which belonged to Jindřich of Hradec.

History and Culture

Until 1849, Horní Myslová remained connected with the Telč estate. On the village green, the bell tower and the crucifix of Horní Myslová are listed as cultural monuments under registration number ÚSKP 18071/7-4844.

Landscape

Land use is clearly dominated by agriculture: agricultural land covers 80 % of the area of Horní Myslová, while forests account for 11 %.

Historic Buildings

Nechvátalův mlýn is a small rural mill on the Myslůvka stream and was still in use in the 20th century. The Nechvátalův mlýn mill retains milling equipment from the 1920s. Nechvátalův mlýn is a significant building in Horní Myslová.
