Ždírec Nad Doubravou: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Ždírec nad Doubravou lies at the transition between the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, the Železné hory Mountains and the Žďárské vrchy Hills.
Nature and Trails
The Ranské polesí educational trail has eight stations. The town of Ždírec nad Doubravou opened the circular educational trail in cooperation with the market town of Krucemburk and the Forestry Cooperative of the Municipalities of Přibyslav. The educational trail is just under 17.5 kilometres long.
The 39-kilometre cycling loop through Podoubraví also passes through Ždírec nad Doubravou.
The lookout on the old water tower was completed in 2013 at an elevation of 570 metres. It is intended to provide passing tourists and local residents with seating and a view of the town. It is designed as a terrace above Ždírec nad Doubravou and was to be created from the former water tower complex.
Culture
The Doubravka Gallery in Ždírec nad Doubravou is part of the town's municipal cultural institution. It has a permanent exhibition of twelve paintings donated by Norbert Hanč in 2010.
In Horní Studenec, the Church of Saint Wenceslas, the cemetery wall and the wooden bell tower are registered cultural monuments. The single-nave Gothic church was built around 1350.
The Museum of Household Objects in Horní Studenec offers visits to its exhibits by prior telephone appointment; a visit and viewing can be arranged with Mr Jirásek at 728 569 153.
The château in Nový Studenec is a Renaissance building dating from 1612.
