Nature

Kobylí hlava is a mountain in the immediate vicinity of Chlístov. The New Year’s ascent of Kobylí hlava took place for the 19th time in 2025. There is a shelter for cyclists and tourists on the mountain. The shelter on Kobylí hlava can be reached by road from Chlístov and offers beautiful views of the surrounding area.

Other mountains in the immediate vicinity of Chlístov include Vrchy (severní kóta), Zadní hora (GSM trans.) and Hadí hora. A snack stand is open seasonally at the multi-purpose water reservoir in Chlístov.

Culture

The churches of Svatá Markéta, Svatý Marek and U Svaté Magdalena are located in the surroundings of Chlístov. The castle “Roštejn [Doupě] castle outlook t.” is located in the wider regional area around Chlístov.

Events

The Chlístovský Hejk festival took place from 24 to 25 June 2022 in its seventh edition. A football match was also played during a pilgrimage in Chlístov in honour of Saints Cyril and Methodius.
