Řídelov: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Lukšovská protected area lies in the cadastral district of Řídelov, approximately 1.5 km north of Řídelov. It protects wet spruce forests and alder stands along streams and includes forest stands with a high natural proportion of Norway spruce (Picea abies).

Nature

Rašeliniště Bažantka is a transitional and valley bog. Its wetland vegetation includes round-leaved sundew (Drosera rotundifolia), bogbean (Menyanthes trifoliata) and broad-leaved marsh orchid (Dactylorhiza majalis).

The Mirošovská studánka spring is located in the cadastral district of Řídelov; a bicycle-friendly path leads to it. Malý pařezitý rybník is a designated bathing site operated by the municipality of Řídelov.

Culture and history

South of Řídelov stands a stone Baroque wayside shrine of the boží muka type, dated 1817. The local Drdák mill was one of the largest and oldest mills in the surrounding area.

The Roštejn (Doupě) castle is located in the vicinity of Řídelov; the mountains Obecní kopec, Vondrova skalka, Řídelovský kopec and Farářský kopec are also located there. The Janštejn ruins and the U Svatého Křiže Church are also located in the vicinity of Řídelov. Further afield in the region of Řídelov lies Landštejn Castle.
