Stebno: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In the center of Stebno's village square stands the Church of St. Simon and St. Jude. The protected complex includes the church, the bell tower, the surrounding wall, and the gate. The single-nave Baroque church dates from 1692; the church also contains a sandstone baptismal font from 1546, which was restored in 1908.

Cycling

The municipal cycling route “Za výhledy na Portu Bohemicu” runs through Stebno between Podlešín and Dubice. It is 48 kilometers long and includes 600 meters of ascent and 600 meters of descent. A regional cycling route from Ústí nad Labem via Hostovice and Podlešín reaches Stebno on cycling route 3090 and continues from Stebno on cycling route 3092 toward Dubice.

Trails

The circular route via the Vaňov viewpoints and the Lužická spojka Ferrata is approximately 10 to 11 kilometers long. On the return journey, it leads via Stebno, the Vrkoč viewpoint, and the Vaňov Waterfall back to public transport.

The mountains Glaberův vrch and Deblík are located in the immediate surroundings of Stebno. The mountains Varhošť and Trpasličí kameny are also located in the area around Stebno.

Culture

Střekov Castle is located in the immediate surroundings of Stebno. The ruins of Sukoslav and Kysperk Castle, as well as the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, are also located in the area around Stebno.

History

The historic Salt Road led south from Ústí nad Labem via Hostovice and Milbohov to Stebno and continued to bear the medieval name “Salt Road.”
