Malé Březno lies approximately halfway between Ústí nad Labem and Děčín on the right bank of the Elbe. From the southeast, the valley of the Luční potok stream descends into the municipality.

Kozí vrch is located near Malé Březno as a mountain. The mountains Vrabinec, Netterskoppe, and Trpasličí kameny are also located in the surrounding area. The historic hiking trail Zubrnice–Malé Březno deals with abandoned settlements below Buková hora; Vitín is mentioned as a former settlement.
Culture and History
The chapel on the main road in Malé Březno is a state-protected cultural monument. In 1365, Jindřich z Kamýka was the owner of the medieval small fortification of Leština. Hrad Střekov, a castle, is located in the surroundings of Malé Březno, as is Kostel Nanebevzetí Panny Marie, a church.
In the wider regional surroundings of Malé Březno lies the historic site “Theresienstadt concentration camp and ghetto”. Hrad Kysperk, a ruin, is also located there.

Malé Březno can be reached by passenger train from the Ústí nad Labem-Střekov stop or by buses from Ústí nad Labem.
