Culture and history
The Baroque Church of the Most Holy Trinity in Řehlovice was probably built in 1717 on the site of an older Church of Saint Nicholas. This older church probably dated from the 14th century. The Church of the Most Holy Trinity was richly furnished in 1741 and remodelled at the end of the 19th century.
In Stadice, the monument to Přemysl Oráč was created by Josef Max in 1841; it is a national cultural monument. The reliefs depict the arrival of Libuše’s delegation and their arrival at Prague’s Vyšehrad. The monument is easily accessible all year round.
Above Stadice lies Volská hora, a 309-metre-high, wooded basalt hill. According to local legend, Přemysl Oráč’s oxen disappeared there when he unhitched them to go to Princess Libuše.
