Měrunice is located in the České středohoří Protected Landscape Area. To the south, Vraník and other hills form an impressive backdrop on the horizon. To the southwest, the rounded Dobský hřbet ridge closes off and clearly defines the landscape around Žichov and Měrunice.

Nature

About 300 m south of Měrunice lies Granátka, a small hill. Towards the end of the Tertiary, Granátka was a volcano. Opalescent serpentinites, known as garnets because of their characteristic colour, can still be found there today.

Geographical Location

Měrunice is located near Class II Road 257, which connects Bílina and Louny.
