Korozluky: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The focal point of Korozluky is the chateau on the southern slope of Jánský vrch above the village. It has been protected as a historic monument since 1987 and has been open to the public since 2008. Guided tours of the collection on display are offered at the chateau.

Culture and Events

The chateau is also the venue for recurring events of various kinds: Živá zahrada is an annual children's day, while the Korozlukyfest is held as a traditional concert at the chateau.

Another historical detail is the Chapel of St. Joseph. It was built in 1870–1871 and has the form of a rotunda with a rectangular entrance hall and a semicircular apse.

Nature on Jánský vrch

Jánský vrch was first placed under protection on 25 September 1951. Its botanical features range from a small forest-steppe area in the northern part of the Jánský vrch National Nature Reserve to protected plant species: this forest-steppe area is the westernmost distribution point of the plant species ovsíř stepní čedičový. There are also 11 legally protected plant species on Jánský vrch, including the spring pheasant's eye.

Cycling

The 35-kilometre-long Mostecký okruh cycle route passes through Korozluky. It runs with minimal elevation changes and is suitable for cyclocross, trekking and mountain bikes.
