Velká Nad Veličkou: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Horňácké slavnosti takes place every year in July, primarily in Velká nad Veličkou and additionally in Kuželov. The folklore festival presents authentic folklore from Horňácko and includes a market for traditional products and handicrafts. The tradition of the Horňácké slavnosti has existed since 1957.

Culture

Velká nad Veličkou is home to the Horňácké regionální centrum, a cultural and educational institution focusing on the traditional folk culture and history of Horňácko.

The nave is a later addition dating from 1756. The church also has a preserved bell from 1669. The birthplace of Martin Zeman is a designated birthplace museum.
