Dobronice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Dobronice is located in a landscape area encompassed by Rokytná Nature Park. The nature park serves to protect the character of the landscape in an area with distinctive aesthetic and natural values. These are complemented by a long history of settlement, a listed chapel and the riverside landscape of the Rokytná.

Nature and Landscape

The Rokytná flows through the northern part of Dobronice’s cadastral area. The river is part of the Natura 2000 network. The Dobronický stream also runs through Dobronice.

The Rokytná valley is characterised by numerous deeply incised meanders. Meadows alternate with more deeply cut sections and often rocky banks. Outside the built-up area, the surroundings of Dobronice are characterised by agriculture.

Culture and History

Dobronice was first mentioned in writing in 1283. The documented fortress of Dobronice stood on the left bank of the stream, within the grounds of a farm.

In the western part of Dobronice, the Chapel of Blessed Jan Sarkander stands in a park on the village green. The chapel, with its statue of Blessed Jan Sarkander, is registered as a cultural monument under registration number 19097/7-6247.

The Nezval Trail was opened in 1962.

Routes and Connections

Road II/399 runs through Dobronice, connecting Košíkovo and Znojmo. Bus route 811 operates between Znojmo, Višňové and Trstěnice.
