Prštice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Since 2016, the sundial has formed the centre of Prštice Castle Park. It displays a calendar and Central European Time from 4:00 to 20:00.

Castle, Gallery and Festivals

The exhibitions on the first floor of Prštice Castle are freely accessible. The Aviatik Gallery displays paintings, graphics, jewellery, ceramics and sculptures. The sundial is also part of local open-air celebrations, including Hody, Christmas programmes and masked festivals. Regular social events in Prštice include Jánské hody.

Chapel and Concerts

Regular services of the Roman Catholic Church and the Czechoslovak Hussite Church are held in the Chapel of “St John of Nepomuk” in Prštice. The chapel can also be used for sacred and classical concerts.

Nature and Bodies of Water

Prštice lies on the eastern edge of Bobrava Nature Park. The ponds of the biocentre are not a fishing ground; commercial fishing there is considered poaching. The ponds on the Šatava stream in Prštice provide a habitat for aquatic animals, invertebrates and waterfowl.

Golf and Sport

Castle Golf Club Prštice has a six-hole golf academy with six teeing areas, playing opportunities on grass, a putting green, a chipping green and a bunker. The club organises open days for the public. The departments of TJ Sokol Prštice offer sporting activities to the public throughout the year, except during school holidays.
