Boskovštejn: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Boskovštejn is situated on the Jevišovka. The river forms the backbone of the Jevišovka Nature Park; along its middle course, it meanders through a deeply incised, partly rocky valley with stone fields, numerous viewpoints, scree vegetation, floodplain meadows and thermophilic forests.

Nature

The nearby Nedveka tributary also has a similarly natural character. The Měchounčný kopec hill lies southwest of Boskovštejn. It forms the best-preserved part of the former communal pastures and is home to populations of endangered plants. Its steppe grasslands also support species-rich communities of heat- and drought-loving insects and spiders.

Culture and history

The Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows in Boskovštejn is classified as an immovable cultural monument and stands about 1 kilometre from Boskovštejn in the direction of Prokopov, by Kabelka pond. The château in Boskovštejn was later used as a warehouse and granary.
