Natural Area on the Oslava

The Oslava Nature Park near Čučice encompasses a deeply incised valley through which the meandering Oslava flows. It includes rocky and inaccessible slopes with oak and pine forests, rocks, scree, and remnants of floodplain meadows. The Údolí Oslavy a Chvojnice Nature Reserve is also part of the Oslava Nature Park.

Hiking Trails and Cycling Tours

A green-marked hiking trail connects Oslavany railway station with Čučice and Ketkovický mlýn. Another green-marked hiking trail leads from Oslavany via Čučice to Panorama. The cycling tour from Oslavany to Dalešice is suitable for cross-country and mountain bikes.

History and Culture

The Church of Saint James the Greater stands at the highest point of Čučice. The present church was built in 1707 after the previous church was damaged by fire in 1619. The church contains a Gothic ciborium dating from 1518.

The Chapel of St. John of Nepomuk is one of the significant sights of Čučice.
