Vícemil was first mentioned in 1378. A document issued in 1418 allowed the inhabitants of Deštná and Vícemil to freely inherit and sell their property. In 1597, the Kapinošovský Court and its associated sheepfold were mentioned in Vícemil.
The village chapel of Vícemil is designated as a significant architectural landmark. The chapel located east of Vícemil is well preserved. East of Vícemil stands a rectangular stone niche chapel with an image of Jesus Christ.
The wayside shrines in the open countryside of Vícemil are designated as cultural and architectural assets. The stone cross near Vícemil is three metres high and bears depictions of Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary.
On the road towards Deštná stands a cast-iron cross on a stone pedestal depicting the crucified Jesus. On the outskirts of Vícemil towards Chotěmice stands another cast-iron cross on a stone pedestal with depictions of Christ and the Virgin Mary.
Among the sights in the vicinity of Vícemil is Červená Lhota Chateau, a notable architectural monument.
