Skály: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Skály lies approximately 4.5 km as the crow flies northwest of Protivín on the Protivín–Strakonice railway line. The Klokočínské louky natural monument area lies within the administrative territory of the municipality of Skály.

Culture

The Budičovice heritage zone preserves protected agricultural homesteads dating mainly from the 19th century and partly from the early 20th century; their material substance and spatial arrangement have been preserved. On the village square in Budičovice, the Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk dominates the square and dates from around 1875. Budičovice also features richly decorated façades in the South Bohemian folk Baroque style, with raised wing edges, as well as simple Neoclassical half-hipped triangular gables.

Božejovice Fortress stands on a promontory extending from the dam of the Tvrzský rybník pond. It is privately owned and not open to the public.
