Kraselov: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
The pilgrimage complex of St. Anne is located northeast of Kraselov on the road to Lhota u sv. Anny, on a hill reached by a tree-lined path. The pilgrimage church of St. Anne in Kraselov was founded in 1682 next to an allegedly miraculous spring.
Culture and history
Kraselov Chateau dates back to a fortress from the second half of the 14th century. The churches also tell of different eras: The Church of St. Lawrence in Kraselov was originally Gothic and was given a Baroque makeover in the second half of the 17th century. A fresco of St. Lawrence is located in the eastern gable.
A chest in which Charles IV kept relics of saints, and which he gave to the provost of Vyšehrad, Bedřich Chanovský of Dlouhá Ves, was brought from Rabí to Kraselov in July 1696 and permanently became part of an altar in the right side aisle.
Traditional events include Pastýřské Vánoce at St. Anne's Church and the Vavřinecké slavnosti in Kraselov. At Pastýřské Vánoce at St. Anne's Church, mulled wine, grog, tea, gingerbread and Christmas pastries were offered.
