Tourov: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Tourov is home to the remains of a Gothic fortress. The fortress was probably founded in the 14th century; its ruins are located on private property. A niche chapel stands on the edge of the settlement.

Tourov lies below Lesný Hill. The 600-metre-high hill is visible from Tourov in a westerly direction. Lesný Hill [Bavorov-Tourov] is located in the immediate vicinity of Tourov.

Paths

Tourov can be reached via a turn-off from the road to Prachatice. Near Tourov, a blue-marked hiking trail runs along the road from Bavorov and leads to Helfenburk Castle. The Helfenburk castle ruins are located approximately 2.5 kilometres northwest of Tourov and are protected as a cultural monument.
