In the southern part of the Všepadly area lies Všepadelský rybník. This water-management landmark covers approximately 7.8 ha, is fed by or associated with the Merklinka stream, and is an important landscape and natural feature of Všepadly. Všepadly lies in flat to slightly sloping terrain.
Landscape
Běleč Mountain lies in the vicinity of Všepadly. The nearby surroundings of Všepadly include Všepadelský Škarman Hill, Pupky Hill, and Velký Kouřim Hill.
Paths and routes
A cycle route and a hiking route pass through the Všepadly area, used to connect places of tourist interest and for hiking and cycling. The 34 km-long M 1 (1411) tourist route runs via Domažlice, Chrastavice, Milavče, Hradiště, Netřeb, Všepadly, and onward in the direction of the Klatovy region and Švihov. A side road leads through Všepadly; the cycle route No. 2192 then continues to Černíkovo.
History and architectural heritage
Všepadly was first mentioned in 1379. The “Josefa Hergera” mill, house no. 18, is located in Všepadly. Above Všepadly lies the large Košetice farm estate, founded in the Baroque period. Several buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries in the eclectic style, with raised gables and sculptural façade decoration, are located in Všepadly.
Cultural monuments
In the centre of Všepadly, between houses Nos. 13 and 14, stands monument No. 1873. It bears the inscription “Padlým rodákům všepadelským 1914 – 1918”. The monument features nine photographs of fallen soldiers.
The Chapel of the Virgin Mary in Všepadly formerly contained the approximately 2 m high Všepadly Madonna, an early Baroque statue from the demolished Church of sv. Václava in Úboč; today, it is kept in safe custody. The Chapel of the Virgin Mary stands near Všepadly on a low hill among lime trees; it is rectangular, dates from the 19th century, and lies southwest of Všepadly. The hexagonal Chapel of sv. Václava in Všepadly dates from 1775 and has a tent roof.
