Culture and History

The chapel of Saint Mary Magdalene stands in the village square on the main road. It was built at the beginning of the 19th century and is classified as a cultural monument.

There are five crosses in the municipal area of Myslovice: four made of cast iron on stone pedestals and one made of wood featuring a depiction of Jesus Christ. Myslovice is also home to the chimney of a former brickworks. It symbolically recalls the local production of high-quality bricks, which were produced there mainly by the Kámenova family under the rule of Obytce.

Nature and Landscape

Zahrada u malíře is the first and so far only certified natural garden in the Klatovy area; there are four such gardens in the Plzeň Region. Zahrada u malíře is managed without chemical products, artificial fertilisers or peat. In 2026, it is temporarily closed to public visits; parts of the garden are still being reconstructed.

The mountains of Buzrakov (Plánický hřeben), Úliště [Javor - Loučany] and Běleč are located around Myslovice. The hill of Kostřáb (Plánický hřeben) is also located nearby.
