Libkov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Libkov combines tangible local history with paths through the village, a distinctive village square, and several cultural destinations in the surrounding area. A protected rural farmstead and an event featuring historic vehicles are also among the village’s special details.

Culture

The first surviving written mention of Libkov dates from 1379. A protected rural farmstead in Libkov, č.e. 4, features a traditional rural building with a driveway leading into the courtyard.

The village square features a pond and areas lined with linden trees. It is also home to a monument to Master Jan Hus.

Routes

Cycle routes and a hiking trail pass through Libkov. A first-class road also runs through the village.

Surroundings

The pilgrimage site of Dobrá Voda u Pocinovic is located about 1.5 km from Libkov. It includes a chapel and a spring.

The Chapel of St. Margaret is also located about 1.5 km from Libkov. It offers views of the surrounding area and stands at an altitude of 643 m above sea level.

Events and Sports

At the “Couvání traktorů” event, the programme included an exhibition of veteran and historic vehicles, which ended with a vehicle parade. Rental prices for the multi-purpose sports field applied from 1 October 2023.
