History

Písařova Vesce was first mentioned around the year 1422 under its German name. Vítězslav Lederer was born into a Jewish family in the village of Písařova Vesce (Albersdorf).

Remembrance

The Studánecká alej paměti connects two larger forest areas and separates the wet meadows located on either side. On one of the meadows near the avenue is the final resting place of 15 Jewish prisoners who died in April 1945 during the death march from Tachov to the Flossenburg concentration camp. The avenue runs along the road from Studánka to Písařova Vesce.
