Čímice: Holiday apartments and houses

Čímice is situated in the Pošumaví landscape, surrounded by deep forests and limestone cliffs.

Nature

The marked Vintířova stezka hiking trail runs through the Čímice area. Cycle route No. 121 crosses the eastern tip of Čímice and connects the neighbouring places of Žichovice and Bílenice.

The path to the Čimická vyhlídka viewpoint begins at the road near a car repair shop. The circular walking route from Čímice leads via the Čimická vyhlídka viewpoint, which offers an exceptionally wide panorama.

Čímické jezírko is a flooded former limestone quarry in private ownership. Its water has blue-green hues; the site is not accessible to the public.

Culture

The Chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius is a well-preserved sacred building from the second half of the 19th century and a cultural monument. It was consecrated on 22 November 1863.

The monument to those who fell in the world wars stands in front of the municipal office on Čímice’s small village square.

Transport connections

Čímice is served by bus services and is connected to the nearby Žichovice railway station on the České dráhy railway line between Klatovy and Horažďovice.
