Nature and Landscape

The Na skalách natural monument is located in Rabštejnská Lhota within the Železné hory Protected Landscape Area. The purpose of protecting the natural monument includes manifestations of the transgression of Cretaceous Cenomanian sandstones over Ordovician quartzites. From the road, Na skalách can be reached via a walkable hiking trail that continues for more than 250 m.

The Bučina and Krkanka mountains are located in the vicinity of Rabštejnská Lhota. The nearby area also includes the Hůra hill [Slatiňany] and the hill (U Dubiny) [Svídnice u Slatiňan].

Culture and History

A traditional bell tower stands in the landscaped village centre of Rabštejnská Lhota. A memorial to the victims of the First World War is located nearby. The grounds of the Rabštejnek castle ruins are open to the public year-round. Guided tours of the exterior and interior areas of Rabštejnek can be arranged year-round by prior registration.

The Church of Svatý Jiří is located in the wider regional surroundings of Rabštejnská Lhota.

Water and Sports

Visitors can swim at the local multipurpose water facility in Rabštejnská Lhota. Sand tennis courts are available in the village. Tournaments in singles and doubles are held annually on two local tennis courts.

The 18 km-long, easy-rated cycling circuit “Na Báru a zpět přes koňský svět” for trekking bikes runs through Rabštejnská Lhota.
