The game “Discover Interesting Places in Our Municipality” comprises 18 stations. Clues, maps and a picture crossword lead to the “Býšť Treasure”.
Culture and Local History
The parish church of St George in Býšť is mentioned as early as 1360. Eduard Nápravník is also associated with the town: he was born on 24 August 1839 in the school building No. 72 in Býšť. In Russian opera, he conducted an orchestra for more than half a century and is considered the founder of the “Russian school of conducting”.
An exhibition of tourist postcards is open during the office hours of the Býšť Municipal Office.
Discovery Game and Paths
Several stations of the local discovery game are located by bodies of water and along paths in Býšť. Vodní nádrž Bučina is one of the game’s stations; the path described there leads to the pond’s dam. Rybník Špaček is also a station of the local discovery game in Býšť, with the path described there leading towards its dam.
Zvonička Býšť is also a station of the local discovery game. From the church, it can be reached via a path between the houses. Another station is Retenční nádrž Býšť; from the municipal primary school building, it can be reached via an asphalt road and a footpath.
Nature and Bodies of Water
The marked Biřička educational trail leads to Studánka Bučina. The spring is located where the water flows over from the pond.
The Býšťský potok flows through Býšť and joins the Brodecký potok in the southern part of the municipality.
