Bohutín Nad Moravou: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Bohutín nad Moravou lies halfway between Ruda nad Moravou and Bludov along the Moravská stezka. The terrain of Bohutín rises steeply from the nearly level plain along the Morava River in the east to Zbová at 445 m above sea level and in the north to Burdova hora at 498 m above sea level. Most of the cadastral area consists of meadows and pastures.
Landscape and Nature
Zbová offers particularly beautiful panoramic views in all directions, especially of the Morava valley. The abandoned quarry on the western slope of Zbová hill near Bohutín lies about 500 m east of the municipality. It contains one of the most significant occurrences of alpine-type fissure communities in the southern part of the Keprnická skupina. At the eastern edge of Bohutín, a road branches off the Bohutín–Bludov road and leads directly to the Bohutín–Zbová quarry. A blue-marked hiking trail also passes through Bohutín.
Culture and History
The Chapel of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary was built in 1801 and is dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. A pilgrimage usually takes place at the chapel on 8 September. The earliest written mention of Bohutín dates from 1493; at that time, the place was called „Bohutínek“. Below Zbová, the summer open-air theatre is part of a natural area.
