A nature trail begins at Penzion Rejvíz in Rejvíz, leading along a boardwalk to Velké mechové jezírko. The trail includes 14 named information boards or stations. From Velké mechové jezírko, visitors can return to Penzion Rejvíz along the same route or continue on the blue trail towards Jeseník.
Nature and Landscape
Rejvíz is one of the four national nature reserves in the Jeseníky Mountains. The Rejvíz peat bog formed around 6,000 to 7,000 years ago. The moss šikoušek zelený, which is significant throughout Europe, grows there.
The Zámecký pahorek and Zámecký vrch mountains are located in the immediate vicinity of Rejvíz. The Příčný vrch and Orlík mountains are also located in the surrounding area.
Culture and Local Character
Rejvíz has preserved rural wooden architecture, dating predominantly from the 19th century. The ruins of Edelštejn are located in the surroundings of Rejvíz. Otmuchów Castle - Zamek is located in the wider region around Rejvíz.
Winter
Depending on snow conditions, several cross-country ski trails are groomed in Rejvíz.
